The Fave Five are doing an awesome job in learning how to "rightly divide the Word of God." I hear that they'll visit a homeless shelter tomorrow night to scan the place. To get their feet wet, Pastor Garfield will have them preach there soon. Thanks Ptr PJ.

Preaching 101

In the midst of living in a relativistic society, nothing is more urgent than to "rightly divide the Word of God." I'm excited to have five of our men commiting to taking a course on Introduction To Preaching. They're on their 3rd of 12 weeks. We are grateful to God for using Pastor Garfield, pastor of Faith In Christ Fellowship, Daly City, in teaching these men of God.

I'm looking forward to what our God will do in and through their lives. Some of them will preach; others will teach a life group; all will be able to lead their family in falling in love with God and His Word. But most of all, I pray that as Peter said, "Grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Soli Deo Gloria!
